Treehouse Surprise For Family

We have been out to visit Joanne who was diagnosed with stage 3 bowel cancer in May 2020. After a major surgery, she underwent chemotherapy, which had to be stopped as she had developed pancreatitis. A further tumour was then found on her ovary, which she had surgery to remove. During surgery, her bowel was injured and Joanne ended up being ventilated in the ITU after an emergency procedure to save her life. Unfortunately, her ovary biopsy came back showing her cancer had progressed to stage 4. Joanne is currently having fortnightly chemotherapy and is resigned to staying at home as she cannot expose her skin to sunlight due to her treatment. Angel Trust have presented Joanne with a stay in our treehouse at Ramside Hall Hotel, where she can spend some special time with her family after the difficult year she has been through. Joanne wants to to use this experience to say thank you to her amazing family who have helped her through this journey. We hope you have a wonderful time relaxing during your treehouse stay!
