This Christmas, Angel Trust are calling on the help and support of the community to ensure that every child in County Durham and Darlington wakes up to a gift on Christmas morning. Our aim is to provide gifts for those who are most vulnerable and suffering hardship but we can’t do this without your support. May we call upon your generosity and encourage you to add an extra gift/toy to your shopping list over the next few weeks prior to Monday 19th December. We accept all toys/gifts as long as they are new and unused. Please do not wrap your gifts, we will do this to ensure the right gift goes to the right person.

 

Gift ideas may include:

• 0-3 years: Soft toys, bath toys, nursery rhyme CDs

• 3-5 years: Books, cars, dolls, educational toys, colouring books, pencils/crayons

• 5-9 years: Dolls, action figures, colouring sets

• 9-12 years: Games, sports equipment, footballs, hats, gloves, scarves

• 12-16 years: Books, toiletries, hats, gloves, scarves

 

If you are struggling for a gift idea you can come into our Angel Trust Christmas Shop on Newgate Street and pick up a gift tag. This gift tag has a child’s Christmas wish written on it so you can personally buy the gift for that individual. Also, if you are unable to donate in person or would prefer to purchase a gift online, you can do so through our Amazon Wishlist. These gifts will then get delivered directly to our Angel Trust building.

 

All toys/gifts can be dropped off Monday - Friday between 9am and 5pm at Angel Trust, Belvedere House, Kingsway, Bishop Auckland, DL14 7JN.
