I have lived and worked in the area most of my life after living moving back here from Teesside in the 00s.

 

I run a local enterprise agency where our teams help people start businesses as well as helping businesses grow and develop. I have worked for the organisation for over 13 years and I’m privileged I get to support people start new businesses and create huge changes in their lives. We get to help businesses take on new challenges and grow, all with the mantra that we want to see lasting change in our communities through the access to increased employment opportunities.  Where we can help businesses start, or support businesses already active in our community to grow and take on new members of staff, we can help communities regenerate themselves. By supporting enterprise and employment health and wellbeing is improved, outcomes surrounding education and skills improve and communities feel alive, vibrant and welcoming places to live and work.

 

I love supporting the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in my work and see first-hand the impact organisations like the Angel Trust has on our communities. I am very much looking forward to getting involved with the work of the organisation and helping the team grow and develop the fantastic work they do.
