Angel Trust Great Glen Canoe Adventure

This sixty-mile route includes twenty two miles of paddling on sections of manmade canal, with the rest on lochs.   Taking in some amazing sights including Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and the world famous Loch Ness.

Leaving from Inverness, Day 1 sees Fort William, Gairlochy and Loch Lochy.  We then spend the night on the beach at Clunes Bay.

Day 2 takes us to Laggan and the stunning scenery of Loch Oich. We then paddle on Day 3 along the canal to Fort Augustus and camp on the southern side of Loch Ness.

After breakfast on Day 4 we sail across Loch Ness to have lunch on the beach at Urquhart Castle. Weather permitting we will camp on the beach at Dores Bay, looking down the whole length of Loch Ness. Day 5 takes us down the River Ness to Muirtown Basin  and back to Inverness.

£100 registration fee plus £900 fundraising which Angel Trust will support you with, including fundraising pack, collecting cans, posters, Just Giving page and lots more.
