The Angel Trust Emporium is a charity shop with a difference, offering a diverse range of products with everything from winter coats to wheel cleaner!
The Emporium accepts donations throughout the year, we can even collect clothing items from your County Durham home, school or organisation.
To arrange a collection, simply call 01388 737270
What happens to your donations?
Our expert team hand sort all donations, picking out essential items that are given out directly to our homeless clients, for example warm coats, hats and water bottles.
From then on, items are sorted into two piles, one to be sold, the rest is given as rag to a local supplier with all profits generated being reinvested back into the Trust. All of our items are then steam cleaned by our team for hygiene reasons, making sure all our products are clean, comfortable and ready for sale.
What sort of items can you donate?
-All items of clothing from head to toe (excluding used underwear)
-Small Bric-A-Brac e.g. ornaments, vases
-Furniture (Please call the shop directly to discuss our current capacity to take furniture)
You can donate your items directly to the Angel Trust Emporium, on Durham Chare in Bishop Auckland or simply call the team on 01388 737270
