Our Community Pantry is open to all members of the public, offering discounted products and fresh fruit and vegetables which are donated by the Auckland Project.

The Pantry is open Tuesday – Saturday, 10am-2pm and can be found at the back of the Angel Trust building on Kingsway Bishop Auckland. The Pantry has a range of discounts and offers, including the option to fill a basket with essential items for just £5.

Our Pantry welcomes hundreds of customers every day, with many visiting us several times a week during the opening hours. The Pantry receives excess stock from local supermarkets, meaning we also reduce waste and have a positive impact on the environment in terms of recycling and reducing landfill.

Stock can change, but typically our Pantry will contain:

• Hygiene Products & Toilet Rolls

• Cleaning Products

• Cupboard essentials, including tins and dried pasta

• Tea, Coffee and Biscuits

• Shower items including Shampoos, Shower Gels & Skincare

​

Items are also donated to schools and local community groups if we have excess stock.
